Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies (no bake)
These have are a great memory for me. We didn't get chocolate much as kids, so this was a huge treat. 
And it was another reason for me to see how cool my Grandmother Brock was. 
She had chocolate, RC Cola, and a toaster.  :)


 

Combine:

2 cups sugar
1 t vanilla
3 T cocoa
1 stick oleo

Mix and boil for one minute.

Pour over 3 cups uncooked oatmeal. (You can put 1/2 c peanut butter or 1 c coconut or 1 c pecans)

Mix well and put by spoonfuls on waxed paper and let cool.
